## Description

Students and listeners who need a wired headset for school, calls or music can connect these Botesty Sound headphones through a 3.5 mm audio jack. The built-in microphone also suits online lessons and video meetings on supported devices.

Choose the foldable over-ear design when you want headphones that pack away for a commute or trip. The adjustable headband and rotating ear cups help you settle the fit before listening.

If you’re choosing between a wireless set and a straightforward plug-in pair, the lris keeps the connection simple: use a device’s 3.5 mm jack and the included 4.9 ft nylon-braided cord.

## Highlights

The beige-white headphones combine over-ear ear cups with a dynamic 40 mm driver and passive noise control. The padded ear cushions and adjustable headband are designed for a comfortable, personalized fit, while the cups rotate and the headphones fold for easier storage in a bag. Their 250 g weight makes them practical to carry between classes, work and travel.

The tangle-free nylon-braided cable gives you room to move while connected. A 120° curved plug is designed to connect at an angle, and the built-in microphone lets you take calls or participate in online learning on compatible devices. Buyers praise the sound, comfort and appearance, feedback on reliability is mixed, and some report durability problems.

## Best use cases

These headphones suit everyday listening, study sessions and travel when you want a wired connection rather than a wireless setup. Connect them to a tablet or laptop for a lesson, or use a phone or MP3/MP4 player for music. The foldable design helps when you need to put them away between uses, and the over-ear fit makes them a practical choice for focused listening at a desk or while travelling.

They’re compatible with devices that have a 3.5 mm audio jack, including tablets, laptops, desktops, cell phones, Kindle devices, MP3/MP4 players and televisions. For a device without that jack, use a suitable 3.5 mm conversion adapter. The microphone is not supported on desktops and some laptops, so its availability depends on the device.

## How to use it

Connect the plug to the device’s 3.5 mm headphone jack, then adjust the headband and ear cups for a comfortable fit. Position the microphone on the cable for calls or online meetings. Use the controls on the connected device to adjust volume, volume adjustment is not handled by the headphones. When you’re finished, fold the ear cups inward for easier packing. The headphones are not water resistant, so keep them away from moisture during use and storage.

## Practical questions

**Can I use these headphones with a device that has no 3.5 mm jack?** Yes, with a suitable 3.5 mm conversion adapter connected to the device.

**Will the microphone work with a desktop computer?** The microphone is not supported on desktops and may not work on some laptops. Check that your device supports microphone input through its audio connection.

**How do I change the volume?** Adjust it on the connected device. Volume control on the headphones is not suitable for this model.

## When it makes sense

The Botesty Sound lris is a practical match for students and everyday listeners who want foldable, over-ear headphones with a wired 3.5 mm connection and an integrated microphone. Its braided cable, adjustable fit and compact folding design make it easy to move between study, calls and travel without switching to a wireless setup.
