BOILEAU NA-H2623C Extra-Large Electric Heating Pad, 17" x 33", 3 Heat Settings

Some people want warmth focused on one small area, others prefer a pad that can cover a broader part of the body. The BOILEAU NA-H2623C is made for that wider-coverage approach, with an extra-large 17" x 33" format for areas such as the back, shoulders, abdomen or legs.

Its soft fleece surface and lightweight build make it practical for settling in on a bed or sofa after a busy day. The 10 ft controller cord gives room to position the pad while keeping the controls within reach.

Three heat settings let you choose a level for your session, while a 2-hour automatic shut-off and overheat protection are built into the design. It’s a straightforward way to add warmth at home, without limiting use to one small target area.

Worth noting

The generous dimensions are the main difference between this pad and a compact heating pad: it can be placed across a larger area, including the back or shoulders, or repositioned for the abdomen, knees or legs. One-button control keeps setting the heat simple, and the three settings are listed across a range of 104°F to 150°F. The pad heats quickly, its product information notes that it first reaches a higher temperature before settling to the selected level.

Buyers commonly appreciate the broad coverage and cord length, and some describe the warmth as helpful for discomfort or cramping. Feedback on heat output and settings is mixed, and some buyers raise concerns about durability. That perspective is useful if you’re choosing between a large, flexible pad and a smaller one designed for more localized placement.

Care tips

For cleaning, detach the controller cord before washing the pad. It can be hand-washed or machine-washed gently. Let it dry completely before reconnecting it for use, air drying or tumble drying on low is recommended. For a heating session, connect the controller cord to the pad before plugging it into power. Use the pad over clothing rather than directly on bare skin, and keep it unfolded while heating.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a relaxed evening at home, spread the pad over the area you want to warm, then use the controller to select one of its three settings. Its 17" x 33" size makes it adaptable when you want coverage across the back or need to reposition it for another area. The long cord can be useful when you’re resting on a bed or sofa, while the automatic shut-off ends a session after two hours. The pad weighs 680 g and is made from soft fleece, combining a plush feel with a form that’s easy to move between resting spots.

A solid pick if your priority is broad, adjustable warmth for different body areas rather than a compact pad dedicated to one small spot. The combination of oversized coverage, simple controls and timed shut-off suits everyday at-home comfort.

What to clarify

How large is the heating pad? It measures 17" x 33", or 83.8 x 43.2 cm, so it can be positioned across areas such as the back, shoulders, abdomen, knees or legs.

How are the heat and shut-off controlled? A one-button controller provides three heat settings, and the pad automatically shuts off after two hours.

Can it be washed? Yes. Disconnect the controller cord, then hand-wash or machine-wash the pad gently. Dry it completely before use, air drying or tumble drying on low is recommended.
