## Description

Some outdoor setups need power at several points, while others are better served by a simple single-outlet cord. The BN-LINK CP-C214 takes the multi-point approach, with three grounded outlets on one green extension cord.

Its 25 ft length and dark green colour suit seasonal lighting, landscaping and holiday displays where access to power needs to extend into the yard. The cord is rated for outdoor use and is also suitable for indoor use.

Need to connect several lights without running a separate extension cord to each one? The three-outlet splitter provides a straightforward way to organize a setup from one power connection.

## Benefits

The 16/3 SJTW cord is designed to resist moisture, abrasion and prolonged exposure to sunlight, making it useful for outdoor arrangements that remain in place through changing conditions. Each outlet has a press-fit cover to help resist moisture and dust when it is not in use. This gives the connections added protection between seasonal displays or while arranging a setup.

The grounded three-prong plug has reinforced blades, and heavy-duty strain relief helps protect the electrical connections. Its green finish is less conspicuous among plants and lawn features than a brightly coloured cord, which can help keep lighting arrangements visually tidy. Customers have also praised its useful length and versatility for outdoor decorations and multiple-light setups, these are buyer impressions rather than performance guarantees.

## Key takeaways

This cord has three grounded outlets and a maximum combined rating of 13 A or 1,625 W. The rating applies to the connected load as a whole, so add the power requirements of the lights or equipment plugged into the splitter before use. It operates at 125 volts and is ETL Listed.

Compared with using separate single-outlet extension cords for each decoration, a splitter can make it easier to bring several nearby lights or lawn accessories back to one power point. The 25 ft cord is useful when the display is set farther from that point, while its green colour helps it blend into a landscaped setting.

## How to use it

Use the three outlets for compatible lights, holiday decorations, stake lights or lawn accessories, keeping the total connected load within 13 A or 1,625 W. Fit the outlet covers over any connections that are not in use to help resist moisture and dust. Its outdoor-oriented construction also makes it suitable for seasonal lighting, including holiday displays, as well as general outdoor tool use within its rating.

## Questions before you buy
