## Description

## Quick overview
For homeowners and garden users who need to trim branches at different heights, the BlumeTrec POS-001-11 combines a hand-held saw with an extendable pole. Its modular sections let you choose a working length of 8.5 ft, 11 ft or up to 14.5 ft, so one tool can handle close pruning as well as higher branches from the ground.

The 42.5 cm blade has a three-sided cutting edge and double-sided barbs designed to grip branches during cutting. Precision-ground teeth help clear sawdust as you work, while the anti-slip grip supports steady handling. The saw weighs 2.37 kg, and its steel pole sections connect or detach for length adjustments.

## Usage tips
Select the pole length that gives you practical control for the branch you are trimming, then connect the required sections. The saw can also be used by hand for close pruning. Before cutting at full extension, make sure the saw head is firmly secured to the pole with the extra screw provided. A stable grip and deliberate strokes help keep the blade engaged with the branch.

The blade’s barbed design is intended to help it hold onto branches, while the tooth profile helps move sawdust away from the cutting area. The powder-coated pole finish and rust-resistant design are suited to outdoor yard and garden tasks. Buyers frequently praise the blade’s sharpness, ease of control and lightweight feel, as well as the tool’s usefulness across different pruning jobs.

## Tips for day-to-day use
For shrubs or branches within easy reach, use the saw by hand or with fewer pole sections. Add sections when you need to reach higher limbs, choosing among the three available lengths rather than extending the tool by default. This makes the saw adaptable to routine garden trimming, patio upkeep and higher tree branches without switching between separate short- and long-reach pruning saws.

When working overhead, position yourself on the ground and keep a firm hold on the anti-slip grip. Use the pole to bring the cutting edge to the branch instead of climbing a ladder for the pruning task. The saw is described for use on trees and shrubs, including oaks, palms, pines and firs, as well as general yard, garden and forestry work.

## Before you decide
**How long can the pole saw extend?** It can be assembled at 8.5 ft, 11 ft or 14.5 ft. The modular design uses 6, 8 or 11 sections respectively, allowing the working length to suit close or higher pruning.

**Can it be used for both low and high branches?** Yes. Use it as a hand-held saw for close trimming, or connect pole sections to reach higher branches from the ground. This adjustable format brings near and elevated pruning tasks together in one tool.

**What helps the blade cut through branches?** The blade has a three-sided edge and double-sided barbs designed to grip branches. Its precision-ground teeth help discharge sawdust while cutting.

## When it makes sense
Choose the BlumeTrec POS-001-11 if your yard work includes a mix of close pruning and higher branches, and you want one manual saw that can change reach as the task changes. Its adjustable 14.5 ft maximum length, hand-held option and branch-gripping blade make it a practical fit for garden and patio care as well as broader outdoor trimming.
