Barnett Cobra slingshot

For recreational slingshot users who want aiming features and a wrist brace, the Barnett Cobra combines a sight system with a front stabilizer and an extended, removable brace.

Its contoured soft-touch grip is designed for comfort, while the included shooting guide provides step-by-step use instructions.

The package also lists Magnum power bands, practice ammo and a brushed leather pouch. Without having tested it, the available details point to a feature-equipped setup, but they don’t explain the ammo type or provide measurements for the brace and grip.

Key specifications

The Cobra is a slingshot with a sight system, front stabilizer and extended removable wrist brace. Barnett also describes the handle as contoured, with a soft-touch finish. These details give it a more supported, feature-led approach than a basic slingshot with a simple grip and no listed sight or brace.

The product information names Magnum power bands and practice ammo, but doesn’t specify the ammo material, band dimensions or replacement-band options. Those omissions matter if you’re choosing around a particular setup or need to know what consumables to buy later. The red-and-black colour is stated in the product name.

Who it’s for

This may suit someone looking for a slingshot with built-in aiming and stabilizing features, rather than a bare-bones design. The removable brace gives you the option to take it off, while the shooting guide offers instructions for getting started. It doesn’t, however, establish a user’s experience level or confirm that the fit will work for every hand size.

It’s a good option if you want the brace, sight system and practice supplies together, and expect to use the included guide to learn the setup. For example, you could follow its instructions in a suitable, controlled practice area, using the supplied practice ammo and keeping a safe backstop in place.

It won’t suit you if you need exact dimensions, detailed band specifications or confirmed compatibility with other ammo or replacement bands, those details aren’t provided here. A simpler slingshot may make more sense if you don’t need the sight and brace, while a more demanding target setup calls for specifications that this listing doesn’t establish.

What's included

The listed package includes Magnum power bands, practice ammo, a brushed leather pouch and a shooting guide with step-by-step use instructions. The extended wrist brace is removable and is part of the slingshot, rather than a separate accessory. The description doesn’t state how much practice ammo is supplied, so don’t assume a particular quantity when comparing packages.

Veredicto final

Choose the Barnett Cobra if you specifically want a slingshot with a sight system, front stabilizer, removable brace and listed practice supplies in one package.
