Avery 5140 Adhesive Name Badge Labels, 4" x 6" Sheets, Laser/Inkjet, 100 Count

Print names and event details on Avery 5140 adhesive name badge labels, then peel them from the sheet for quick distribution. The labels come on 4" x 6" sheets and work with laser or inkjet printers, making it straightforward to prepare badges for meetings, seminars, parties and other gatherings. Print-to-the-edge formatting helps make room for the information you want attendees to see.

With 100 labels in the pack, you can prepare badges for a group in one print run and hand them out as people arrive. The adhesive format gives each attendee a simple name badge without the separate clip or pocket used by reusable holders.

Where it shines

These self-adhesive badges suit events where people need to identify one another at a glance. Prepare a sheet before a meeting, seminar or party, then peel off individual labels for guests as they arrive. They’re also a practical choice for meet-up groups, reunions and casual get-togethers where a printed name is more convenient than writing each badge by hand.

The 4" x 6" sheet format is designed for printing with a laser or inkjet printer. Avery Design & Print Online can be used to personalize the badges, while print-to-the-edge capability gives you room to lay out names and other event details across the label. The peel-away design also makes it easier to separate badges for sorting and distribution.

What to know

Each pack contains 100 adhesive name badge labels. Print the information using a compatible laser or inkjet printer, then separate the labels from the sheet for use. Unlike a badge holder that clips or hangs from clothing, this format applies directly to a garment. That makes it a useful fit for one-day events where handing out individual badges is part of check-in.

Buyers often describe the labels as useful for casual gatherings and say they adhere well during an event while remaining easy to remove when needed. Those comments reflect individual experiences, but they point to the practical appeal of a peel-and-stick name badge for group settings.

Best use cases

Choose this format when you want to print a batch of names ahead of time and distribute badges at the door. For example, an organizer can lay out attendee names on a sheet, print them with a laser or inkjet printer, and keep the separated labels ready for a class reunion or seminar. The printable format also suits gatherings where a simple, direct-to-clothing badge is more convenient than managing reusable holders.

Before you decide

Can I print these labels with an inkjet or laser printer? Yes. The product is intended for both inkjet and laser printers, so you can prepare the badges using either printer type.

How many name badges are in a pack? Each pack contains 100 labels, suitable for preparing a batch of attendee names for an event or group gathering.

Can I personalize the badges before printing? Yes. Avery Design & Print Online is identified as a tool for personalizing the badges, so you can arrange names and event information before printing.
