## Description

The 3.5-inch M-AUDIO BX3BT pair combines compact desktop speakers with a wood-fibre MDF cabinet and Bluetooth streaming. Black Kevlar woofers and silk dome tweeters create a stereo setup for listening, recording and editing at a desk. Choose wireless playback for a phone or tablet, or use the wired inputs to connect traditional audio equipment. This mix of connection options suits a workspace that needs more flexibility than basic computer speakers.

## Tech specs
- Type: Stereo multimedia studio monitors, sold as a pair
- Model: BX3BT
- Drivers: 3.5-inch Kevlar woofers and 1-inch natural silk dome tweeters
- Amplification: Bi-amplified, 120W peak, 2 x 25W RMS
- Connections: Bluetooth, 1/4-inch, 1/8-inch and RCA inputs, front AUX input and headphone output
- Cabinet: MDF with bass reflex design

The bass reflex cabinet and separate woofer and tweeter drivers are designed to deliver low and high frequencies through a two-speaker stereo arrangement. High- and low-EQ controls let you adjust the sound to suit your listening space, while the active-speaker switch sets which speaker carries the left or right channel. For creators, that makes the pair useful for checking a mix at the desk, for everyday listening, Bluetooth offers a straightforward way to stream music and podcasts without a wired source.

## What it works with
Pair a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or computer for wireless audio. For a wired setup, the rear 1/4-inch and RCA inputs connect with compatible audio sources such as an audio interface or mixer, while the 1/8-inch connections serve common auxiliary audio connections. A front headphone output supports private listening, and the front AUX input provides an easy-access connection. This choice of wireless and analogue inputs is useful when a desk alternates between casual playback and recording or editing tasks.

## Practical tips
Place the speakers on a stable tabletop and set the active-speaker switch to match the left and right positions you want. Use the rear high- and low-EQ controls to tailor playback to the desk environment, and connect headphones at the front when you want to listen privately. Bluetooth is convenient for streaming from a mobile device, a wired connection is the practical alternative when your audio source or workflow calls for a direct input. The included cables support common connections, and MPC Beats music production software is included for getting started with music creation.

## What to clarify
**Can I use the BX3BT without Bluetooth?** Yes. Its wired inputs include 1/4-inch, 1/8-inch and RCA connections, alongside Bluetooth.

**How do I choose the left and right speaker positions?** Use the switch on the active speaker to assign it to the left or right channel.

**What comes with the pair?** The package includes the BX3 speakers, speaker interconnect and audio cables, a power cable, user and safety guides, and MPC Beats music production software.

## Buying verdict
The BX3BT is a practical fit for a desktop where one pair of speakers needs to handle both wireless listening and wired audio connections. Its 3.5-inch Kevlar woofers, silk dome tweeters, stereo positioning switch and adjustable EQ serve a range of everyday computer audio, gaming, recording and editing uses. Choose it when you want a compact monitor pair that can move between casual streaming and a more connected creative workspace.
