## Description

Some shower caps suit everyday hair coverage, while thick, long styles need more room. Could an oversized fit make it easier to cover braids, locs or a perm? The Auban cap pairs a roomy shape with a soft satin lining and a double-layer design. It is made for showering and other routines where keeping hair covered is useful.

## Tech specs
- Type: Extra-large shower cap
- Size: 16-inch diameter
- Construction: Double layer with a waterproof outer fabric
- Inner lining: Satin
- Colour: Black
- Material: Satin and nylon
- Intended age range: Adult
- Quantity: 1

The generous diameter is the key distinction from a typical 12-inch shower cap: it is designed to accommodate thick, long hairstyles, including braids, locs and perms, with room to gather hair inside. The elastic band helps hold the cap in place, while the satin lining is intended to reduce friction against the hairstyle. Together, these details make it useful when a closer-fitting cap would leave less room to contain the full style.

## Practical tips
Use the cap during a shower or bath to cover your hair. The outer layer is described as waterproof and quick-drying, if it gets wet, air-dry it. The care instructions specify air drying. For a broader routine, it can also cover hair during facial care, makeup application, cooking or home cleaning. The satin-lined bonnet is also described for daytime wear or use as a sleep cap, making it a versatile option beyond bathing.

Buyers often praise the roomy fit, coverage for long braids and the lining. Feedback on water resistance and durability is mixed, so those impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a promise of identical results for everyone. The product’s core design remains clear: extra space for fuller hairstyles, a soft inner layer and a water-resistant outer layer for shower-time coverage.

## What you get
The listed quantity is one black Auban extra-large shower cap. Its reusable design gives it a place in a regular bathroom routine, while the oversized shape also suits packing for a gym visit or travel. If you wear braids, locs or another voluminous style, you can use the cap to gather your hair under one cover rather than choosing a standard-size shape intended for less hair. For showering, place the hair inside and settle the elastic edge comfortably around it, air-dry the cap after use.

## Buying verdict
Choose this Auban bonnet when extra room for braids, locs, a perm or thick, long hair matters more than a compact, standard-size fit. Its 16-inch diameter, satin lining and double-layer construction bring together the product’s most practical features: space to contain a fuller hairstyle, a softer interior and an outer layer designed for shower coverage. It also serves useful hair-covering roles during facial care and household routines, so it can support more than one part of the day.
