AstroAI Windshield Cleaner Tool with Microfibre Pads

What to know

Drivers who find it awkward to reach the inside of a windshield may appreciate the AstroAI cleaner’s extendable handle and 180° rotating head. The head is designed to move around the glass and reach corners without leaning as far over the dashboard as you might with a cloth in your hand. It can also be used on household windows that are difficult to reach.

The set includes four reusable microfibre pads, a 60 ml spray bottle and a storage bag. The handle extends from 15.9 to 21 inches and separates into two halves for storage. That makes it a more purpose-built alternative to paper towels or a basic hand cloth, though it still needs an appropriate glass cleaner for the job.

How to care for it

The microfibre pads are washable and can be paired with glass cleaner. Avoid bleach and fabric softener when washing them, as directed in the product information. Let the pads dry before storing them in the bag so the kit is ready for its next use. The handle can be taken apart into two sections when you want to store it in a vehicle or cleaning cupboard.

Keep in mind that the included spray bottle holds 60 ml. If you plan to clean several windows in one go, you may need to refill it, the product details don’t specify that cleaning solution is included. The pads are reusable, but their care instructions don’t establish how long they will last in everyday use.

Practical tips

For a quick interior clean, dampen a pad with glass cleaner and guide the rotating head across the windshield, paying attention to the lower corners that can be difficult to reach from the driver’s seat. Use a clean pad for the final pass if the first one has picked up dust or grime. The extra pads mean you can keep a spare available rather than having to wash one immediately.

The tool is presented for both interior and exterior vehicle glass, as well as home windows. It may suit routine cleaning better than a hand-held cloth when reach is the main frustration. For larger cleaning jobs, the small included bottle may be less convenient than using a larger bottle of glass cleaner alongside the tool. It's a good choice if you want a compact kit for occasional car-glass cleaning and the option to tackle hard-to-reach household windows. It may not be the best choice if you need a large-volume spray bottle or expect the tool itself to replace cleaning solution.

Buying questions

Does the kit include microfibre pads?

Yes. It comes with four reusable, washable pads.

Can the handle be stored more compactly?

Yes. It extends from 15.9 to 21 inches and can be separated into two halves for storage.

Is it only for car windows?

No. The product information also describes it as useful for hard-to-reach household windows.

For your situation

Choose this AstroAI set if the main job is reaching and wiping car glass without stretching across the dashboard, and you’d also use it on awkward household windows. The rotating head, extendable handle and spare pads give it more reach and flexibility than a loose cloth. If you already clean glass comfortably by hand, or need a tool for a much larger cleaning routine, its compact 60 ml bottle and vehicle-focused setup may offer less practical value. The key decision is whether easier reach matters enough to keep a dedicated cleaner in your car or home.
