## Description

The ASTRO Gaming A10 Gen 2 is an over-ear wired headset in a Black/Xbox finish. Its 3.5 mm connection suits gaming setups that use a standard audio jack, while the over-ear design keeps the headset’s speakers positioned around the ears.

Custom-tuned 32 mm dynamic drivers deliver game audio through a closed-back design. For team play, the integrated boom mic flips up to mute and down for communication.

An inline volume control makes quick audio adjustments possible without leaving the game. The cable is removable, and the ear cushions and headband pad can be replaced as they wear.

## Practical tips
Connect the headset to a compatible device through its 3.5 mm audio jack. During play, adjust listening volume with the inline control, when you need privacy, flip the boom microphone up to mute it. Flip it back down to use the mic for team chat. This straightforward wired setup keeps audio and communication in one headset, without needing to manage a separate microphone.

The removable cable is useful for a setup where you may want to detach it for storage or replacement, and replaceable ear cushions and a headband pad give you a way to refresh those parts over time. The over-ear, closed-back construction is suited to settling in for a gaming session, whether you’re playing at a desk or using a compatible console. Customer feedback on comfort is positive, while opinions on sound and microphone quality vary, some customers also report durability concerns. The built-in mute and volume controls make everyday adjustments easy to reach during a match.

## Best use cases
This headset is designed for gaming across compatible consoles, computers and mobile devices. It’s a practical fit for players who want one wired headset for game audio and voice chat, rather than separate headphones and a mic. The 3.5 mm connection supports a simple cable-based setup, and the flip-to-mute boom is especially handy when switching between communicating with teammates and listening privately. Use it with a device that has a compatible 3.5 mm audio connection.

## Final verdict
Choose the ASTRO Gaming A10 Gen 2 for a focused gaming setup built around wired 3.5 mm audio, an integrated boom mic and easy inline volume adjustment. Its replaceable ear cushions and headband pad add practical upkeep options, while the over-ear format suits players looking for a headset for console, computer or mobile gaming.
