ARCADE1UP NBA-C-402300 NBA JAM Countercade with 7-Inch LCD and Light-Up Marquee

If you want an arcade-style setup without dedicating floor space to a full-height cabinet, the ARCADE1UP NBA JAM Countercade brings three classic basketball games to a tabletop format. NBA JAM, NBA JAM Tournament Edition and NBA Hang Time are pre-loaded, so you can get straight to the on-court action.

A 7-inch colour LCD, light-up marquee and full-size joystick and buttons give the Countercade a distinctive arcade feel in a countertop footprint.

Getting the most from it

Set it up indoors on a stable tabletop or counter, then choose between NBA JAM, Tournament Edition and NBA Hang Time. The compact format makes it easy to add arcade play to a games room, bedroom or shared living space while keeping the setup focused on basketball. Its built-in handle also helps when you want to move it between play areas.

The controls are designed around familiar arcade play: full-size, real-feel joysticks and buttons put crossovers, passes and shots at your fingertips. Want to keep the sound to yourself during a late session? Connect headphones through the integrated jack, for shared play, use the built-in speakers and adjust the volume. The light-up marquee and licensed graphics bring a recognizable arcade look to the display area.

Power it with 4 AA batteries, a Micro-USB connection or an AC adapter. The Micro-USB cord is included, while AA batteries are not. Choose the setup that suits where you plan to play, and keep the tabletop clear enough for comfortable access to the controls.

Why it makes sense

The choice between a full-height arcade setup and a countertop unit often comes down to how much room you want the game to occupy. At 22.2 x 24 x 33.5 centimetres, this tabletop Countercade is sized for a counter or table, with the screen, controls and marquee brought together in one unit. That makes it a practical way to give basketball games a dedicated spot without arranging a larger cabinet.

It’s a good fit if you want a focused arcade experience built around NBA JAM and value recognizable controls, a lit marquee and several pre-loaded titles in one countertop machine. The headphone jack adds a quieter way to play, while the speaker volume control makes it easier to suit the room and the moment.

Final verdict

For NBA JAM fans setting up an indoor games area, this Countercade pairs three pre-loaded basketball games with hands-on arcade controls and a 7-inch colour screen. Its tabletop design keeps the play station contained, while the light-up marquee and built-in audio help make it a ready-to-use centrepiece for casual sessions.
