## Description

Choosing a pet blanket for a sofa or bed often comes down to how much of the surface you want to cover. This Ameritex blanket measures 82 x 102 inches, giving you a broad cover for a pet’s usual resting area, while its waterproof construction helps shield the furniture beneath from moisture.

Soft velvet and a reversible light grey and beige design make it practical to keep in a living room or bedroom. Turn it over to switch the visible colour and suit the room.

## How it fits
Use the blanket on a sofa or bed to create a designated spot for your pet while adding a waterproof layer between the pet and the furniture. Its 82 x 102-inch format covers a substantial area, making it useful when your pet settles across a larger section rather than in one small spot. For a pet’s regular resting place, spread it over the surface you want covered, it can also be repositioned between the sofa and bed as needed.

The blanket is reversible, with light grey on one side and beige on the other. Would a change of colour help it work with different rooms or furnishings? Flip the blanket to show the shade that suits the space, without changing its use as a pet cover.

## Strengths
Waterproof construction is the key practical feature for everyday placement on a bed or sofa. It helps protect the covered surface from moisture, while the velvet material gives the blanket a soft feel for pets settling down to rest. The reversible design adds a simple styling choice: use either the light grey or beige side as the visible top.

A large blanket can make more sense when you want to cover a broader lounging area rather than define a small, separate resting spot. It’s a good fit if your pet shares the sofa or bed and you want a dedicated cover that combines a soft velvet surface, waterproof protection and two colour options.

## Is it worth it?
For pet owners who want to cover a sofa or bed with one generous blanket, the Ameritex offers a clear combination of useful features: waterproof construction, a soft velvet material and a reversible two-colour design. Its size suits a broader furniture surface, while the choice of light grey or beige makes it easy to change the look without changing the cover. Choose it for a pet’s regular spot on the sofa or bed when both surface coverage and a comfortable resting layer matter.
