Ambimall Z5V8W2 Floor Lamp, 3 Colour Temperatures and Pull Chain

Three colour-temperature settings let you tailor the light to the feel of a room, while the pull chain makes switching the lamp on convenient from beside a sofa or bed. Need a floor light that can add illumination without relying on a ceiling fixture? This freestanding Ambimall lamp has a minimalist profile for living rooms, bedrooms and other indoor spaces.

Tech summary

The lamp comes with a 9W LED bulb offering 3000K, 4000K and 5000K colour-temperature settings. That range gives you a choice of warmer or cooler-toned light for different rooms and routines. A white shade and polished silver-and-white look keep the design simple, while the pull chain provides a direct way to operate the lamp. Its freestanding format suits a spot beside a couch, reading chair or bed, and the tall, narrow profile can be useful when you want a floor lamp rather than a table lamp.

Best use cases

Use this lamp to bring a separate light source to a room where overhead lighting is absent or where you want another pool of light near a seating area. For example, placing it beside a sofa gives you a reachable pull chain and a floor-standing light source without taking up a table surface. In a bedroom, it can provide light from beside the bed, in a classroom or kids’ room, it adds a freestanding fixture to the space.

Compared with choosing a table lamp, this design stands on the floor and has a slim footprint. It also offers a different approach from relying only on ceiling lighting: place it where you want light, then choose among the bulb’s three colour temperatures to suit the room’s atmosphere. Buyers often praise its appearance, easy assembly and useful light. Feedback on size and sturdiness is mixed, so consider where you plan to position a 164 cm floor lamp.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the lamp on the floor in a position where the pull chain is easy to reach, such as beside a couch or bed. Choose the bulb’s colour-temperature setting to suit the room and the atmosphere you want. The minimalist white-and-silver design can sit alongside modern, traditional or industrial décor without making the lamp the main focus of the room.

Assembly is designed to be straightforward: twist the poles together and insert them into the base. The shade is supplied rolled and is wrapped around its wire frame, then closed with the Velcro fastening at the back. The manufacturer describes assembly as tool-free, making it practical to set up as part of furnishing a room or moving into a new home.
