AllSett Health ASH082 Reusable Hot and Cold Gel Packs, 7-Piece Set

Technical overview

For adults who want a reusable compress in different shapes for targeted hot or cold care, the AllSett Health ASH082 set includes seven gel packs in four formats. The flexible gel stays pliable below freezing, helping each pack mould to body contours. Use the packs cold from the freezer or warm one in the microwave for a hot compress.

The assortment includes one large rectangle, two medium rectangles, two small round packs and two medium round packs. That range gives you a choice for areas such as the knee, shoulder, back, ankle or foot, rather than relying on a single-size pack. The packs are made from plastic and have a puncture-resistant lining with a reinforced double seal. Their reusable design makes them a practical alternative to disposable ice bags for recurring everyday use, sports-related care or rehabilitation routines.

Practical tips

For cold use, place a pack in the freezer and use it for a cold compress, the flexible gel is designed to remain soft below freezing, so it can follow the shape of the area being treated. Choose a rectangle or round pack according to the body area and the coverage you want. The mix of sizes is useful when care needs vary between, for example, a broader area such as the back and a more focused area such as an ankle.

For warm use, the manufacturer describes microwaving a pack for 20 seconds. Follow the pack’s directions when heating and handle it carefully before applying. Keeping the set together makes it easy to choose a suitable shape for a home recovery routine, while the reusable construction allows the packs to be used again after each session. As with any hot or cold compress, use it in a way that feels comfortable for the person receiving care.

Included in the pack

The set contains one large rectangular gel pack, two medium rectangular gel packs, two small round gel packs and two medium round gel packs. Four formats let you select a pack based on the area and the coverage needed, whether you are preparing a compress for a knee, shoulder, back, ankle or foot. Having several packs on hand also makes the set useful for households where different people may want a compress for different areas.

Before you decide

What shapes and sizes are in the set? It includes one large rectangle, two medium rectangles, two small rounds and two medium rounds, for seven packs across four formats.

Can the gel packs be used hot as well as cold? Yes. They are designed for hot and cold use: chill a pack in the freezer for cold care, or microwave it for 20 seconds for warm use.

Do the packs stay flexible when frozen? The gel is designed to remain soft and pliable below freezing, helping a pack conform to the contours of the body instead of becoming rigid.

When it makes sense

This set is a useful fit for adults who want reusable compresses in several shapes for home recovery, sports-related care or everyday comfort. Its defining advantage is the combination of multiple pack formats and hot-or-cold use: choose a shape for the area at hand, then reuse it as your routine calls for. If you need more than one size of compress rather than a single-purpose, single-shape pack, the ASH082 set offers a flexible option for knees, shoulders, backs, ankles and feet.
