ALASKA BEAR AB-EM001-25 Contoured Sleep Mask, Memory Foam, Adjustable Headband

Memory foam and a 3D contoured shape give the ALASKA BEAR sleep mask a cup-style design that sits around the eyes rather than lying flat across them.

Its adjustable headband uses non-metal adjusters, helping you find a snug fit without placing metal clasps near your ears.

For sleep at home or while travelling, the shaped eye cups and nose cut-out are designed to block light while leaving space around the eyes.

What you’ll notice day to day

The contoured cups are shaped to avoid pressing directly on the eyes and eyelashes, while the nose cut-out helps the mask sit close to the face. This design is useful when you want a darkened setting for rest without a flat mask resting across your eyelids. The manufacturer describes it as suitable for back, stomach and sensitive side sleepers, so the design can suit different sleeping positions.

The headband adjusts with a buckle, and its non-metal adjusters are positioned to help avoid scratching the ears or irritating the skin. Adjust the band for a secure, comfortable fit before settling in, the flexible band is designed to stay in place without feeling overly bulky. At home, it can be part of a bedtime routine, while its sleep-mask format also makes it practical to pack for travel.

Customers commonly praise the soft feel, comfortable eye pockets and ability to block light. Feedback on fit is mixed, so individual experiences vary. The adjustable strap gives you a way to tailor how it sits rather than relying on a fixed-size design.

Key features

The 3D contoured eye cups create space around the eyes, while the eyelet and nose cut-out design follows the area around the face. Together, these details make the mask a useful choice for people who prefer a shaped sleep mask over a simple, flat eye covering. Its black design offers a straightforward option for sleep and relaxation at home or on the go.

Soft memory foam and breathable fabric are part of the construction, with the material described as soft and hypoallergenic. The wide, flexible headband and adjustable buckle let you set the fit to your head. For a practical example, settle the mask over your eyes before a rest in a bright room, then adjust the band so it holds its position while you relax. The maker describes the design as blocking out light across different sleeping positions.

Care tips

The mask is machine washable on a delicate cycle. Place it inside a laundry bag for washing, as directed, to make care part of your regular routine and help keep it ready for sleep or travel.

Final verdict

The ALASKA BEAR AB-EM001-25 is suited to adults looking for a contoured, memory-foam sleep mask with adjustable wear and a design made to reduce light around the eyes. Choose it for the shaped cups, nose cut-out and non-metal adjusters when those details matter more to you than a flat, unshaped eye mask. Its washable design also makes it easy to include in a regular home or travel sleep routine.
