Akeelia AP380 Air Purifier with Double-Sided Intake and PM2.5 Sensor

Double-sided air intake draws air through both sides of the Akeelia AP380, supporting room-wide air cleaning in spaces up to 3000 ft². Its PM2.5 sensor monitors indoor air quality and works with Auto mode to adjust operation as conditions change. Five fan speeds, a 12-hour timer and a quiet Sleep mode make it easier to tailor use to your routine. The white design also includes an aromatherapy tray for essential oils.

Quick overview

The AP380 combines a three-stage filtration system with double-sided air intake for use in large rooms. Its listed filtration capabilities include animal hair, fabric particles and PM2.5, making it relevant for everyday spaces where dust and pet-related particles are a consideration. The air quality indicator changes colour as conditions shift, while Auto mode adjusts the purifier’s operation in response. This gives you a simple way to keep air cleaning running without having to select a fan speed each time.

For a practical example, place the purifier in a living room or bedroom where people and pets spend time, then use Auto mode for routine operation or choose one of the five fan speeds when you want a different airflow setting. Sleep mode is rated at 15 dB, making it a useful setting for quieter periods. The built-in aromatherapy tray lets you add essential oils when you want fragrance alongside air purification.

Maintenance

The removable pre-filter is washable and can be vacuumed or rinsed to clear dust and debris. Regular pre-filter cleaning is a straightforward part of upkeep and helps keep the filtration system ready for everyday use. The purifier also has a replace-filter indicator, providing a reminder to attend to filter maintenance. Two three-stage filters are listed as pre-installed, and six aromatherapy pads are included.

Buyers often highlight quiet operation, straightforward controls and airflow as useful aspects of day-to-day use. Some also describe noticing less dust and pet odour in the air. These are individual impressions rather than a guaranteed result, but they reflect the practical priorities many people consider when choosing a purifier for a shared home space.

Getting the most from it

Use the timer to set a run time of 4, 8 or 12 hours, or select a fan speed to suit the room and moment. Higher speeds provide a stronger airflow setting, while Sleep mode is designed for quieter operation during rest. The touch controls keep the main settings accessible, and the child and pet lock helps prevent unintended changes to the controls.

Compared with choosing a purifier intended for a single small area, the AP380’s stated coverage of up to 3000 ft² and double-sided intake make it suited to larger shared rooms. Its 18.5D x 31.8W x 41H centimetre dimensions are useful to consider when deciding where it will sit. Keep the air inlets clear in your chosen spot so the unit can draw air through both sides.

Buying verdict

The Akeelia AP380 brings together broad stated room coverage, PM2.5 monitoring and flexible operation in one purifier. Its washable pre-filter supports a simple cleaning routine, while Auto mode, the timer and Sleep mode offer practical ways to fit air cleaning around daily activity and rest. It is a well-matched choice for households looking for a large-room purifier with pet-particle filtration, adjustable airflow and an aromatherapy option.
