## Description

To protect a potted plant from curious pets or squirrels, place a grid over the soil and trim it to suit the planter. This eight-piece set is made for indoor and outdoor potted plants. Choose a cut-to-fit cover when you need flexibility, choose a fixed-size cover when a ready-made shape is the priority.

## How it fits
Each grid measures approximately 11.8 inches and has a centre opening of approximately 2 inches. The material can be cut to size, so you can shape a cover around a particular planter rather than relying on one fixed fit. Before installation, measure the planter diameter and the plant’s roots, then trim the grid as needed. An opening in the design makes it easier to position the cover in the planter and remove it later.

Use the grids over the soil in indoor pots or outdoor garden planters to help discourage animals from digging. They can also help keep the area around pots tidier by covering exposed soil. For example, a cover over a patio pot can help protect the soil from a digging pet while keeping the plant accessible for routine care.

## Why it makes sense
The PE grids are lightweight, weather-resistant and designed for long-term use indoors or outdoors. Their cuttable format is useful when you have planters in different sizes: instead of choosing a separate fixed-size cover for each pot, you can adapt the grid to the planter. With eight pieces in the set, you can cover several plants at once or keep a grid available for another pot.

Buyers describe the grids as useful for discouraging squirrels from digging in pots and cats from getting into plants. They also highlight how easily the material can be cut to fit. These comments reflect buyers’ experiences, the practical advantage supported by the product design is the option to trim each grid to suit a planter.

## What to clarify
**Can I trim a grid for my planter?** Yes. The grids are cuttable. Measure the planter diameter and plant roots before trimming so the cover fits the pot and plant.

**Can I use these covers indoors and outdoors?** Yes. They are designed for both indoor and outdoor use and are described as weather-resistant for long-term use.

**How many pots can the set cover?** The set contains eight grids, allowing you to cover multiple plants at the same time. The number of planters each grid fits depends on their size and how you trim the material.

## Is it worth it?
For plant owners looking to discourage pets or squirrels from disturbing exposed potting soil, these grids offer a straightforward, adaptable cover. The cut-to-fit PE design suits a mix of planter sizes, while the eight-piece set makes it practical to protect several pots around the home or garden.
