## Description

The foldable, over-ear design makes these Acer wired headphones easy to pack for school or travel, while the adjustable headband and soft memory foam ear cushions support a comfortable fit for children. A 3.5 mm connection keeps setup simple with compatible devices, and the built-in microphone adds a handy option for calls or learning activities that use voice.

With two volume-limiting modes, 85 dB and 94 dB, the HK03 is designed for children’s listening. Its black-and-red finish and lightweight 147 g build make it a practical everyday choice for a backpack, desk or shared learning space.

## Where it shines
For schoolwork, a wired headset can be a straightforward alternative to wireless headphones: connect it to a device with a 3.5 mm audio jack and get started without pairing. The HK03 is suited to school-issued Chromebooks, tablets, laptops and other compatible devices, as well as travel listening. When a child is moving between a lesson and a family trip, the folding design helps make the headphones easier to store between uses.

The volume limiter offers 85/94 dB modes for children’s listening, while the over-ear cushions and adjustable headband help create a more comfortable fit during longer activities. Buyers commonly highlight school suitability, appearance and the sound-limiting feature. Feedback on cord handling is mixed, and some buyers report durability concerns, so keeping the headphones and cable neatly stored after use can help with everyday organization.

## Key features
The HK03 combines a wired 3.5 mm jack with a built-in microphone, making it useful for school activities that involve listening and speaking. Its 40 mm dynamic drivers deliver audio for lessons, videos and entertainment, while the volume-control feature provides two limiter modes. The headband adjusts to suit a range of children’s head sizes, and soft memory foam cushions add a comfortable contact point around the ears.

A tangle-free braided nylon cable and foldable construction are practical details for daily transport and storage. The headphones are made with BPA-free materials, and the lightweight design weighs 147 g. They connect to devices with a 3.5 mm audio jack, newer iPhones and iPads may require an adapter. For a wireless setup or a device without a compatible jack, a different connection approach may be more suitable.

## Getting the most from it
Connect the 3.5 mm plug to a compatible device, then choose the appropriate 85 dB or 94 dB limiter mode for the listening situation. Adjust the headband for a secure, comfortable fit before use. For school, the folding earcups make it convenient to put the headphones away after a lesson, on a trip, their wired connection means there is no pairing step before listening. Store the cable without tight knots to keep it organized in a bag.

## Buying verdict
The Acer acer-Hk03 is a practical pick for families looking for children’s wired headphones for school, tablets or travel. Its useful combination of a microphone, adjustable over-ear fit, folding design and two volume-limiting modes makes it well suited to everyday learning and listening with devices that have a 3.5 mm jack.
