## Description

Some listeners prefer to follow a story by ear, others would rather read at their own pace. The Poisoner is an unabridged audiobook by I.V. Ophelia, with a full-length listening time of 12 hours and 15 minutes. Matt Sykes and Stephanie Willis narrate this first instalment in The Poisoner Series.

## Usage tips
Choose a listening session that suits your routine, whether you want to settle in for a longer stretch or return to the story over several sessions. The unabridged format presents the complete audiobook rather than a shortened version, so the recorded experience runs for 12 hours and 15 minutes. If you enjoy hearing a story performed aloud, this format offers an alternative to reading a printed edition and lets you experience the narration as part of the book.

The Poisoner is Book 1 of 3 in The Poisoner Series, making it the starting point for listeners who want to begin the story in sequence. The two-narrator performance features Matt Sykes and Stephanie Willis. Readers describe the plot as layered and absorbing, with a strong, independent female character and romantic elements. That combination may appeal to listeners looking for a character-led story with gothic atmosphere and romance, rather than a straightforward, purely plot-driven listen.

## Benefits
The unabridged presentation keeps the audiobook in its full-length format, while the two credited narrators bring the story to listeners through spoken performance. Its 12-hour-and-15-minute running time is useful when choosing a substantial story to follow across a series of listening sessions. Starting with Book 1 also gives new listeners a clear entry point before continuing with the later instalments.

Reader feedback often highlights the layered storyline, engaging pace and character development, particularly the strength and independence of Alina. The romantic elements and writing style also receive positive comments. Reactions to the ending are mixed: some readers enjoy the cliffhanger and look forward to the next instalment, while others find the ending abrupt. This is useful context if you prefer a story that resolves everything in a single book, the series format offers a different kind of reading journey.
