## Description

For iPhone 16 Pro Max creators building a mobile video setup, the NEEWER PA074 cage brings filter and lens mounting options together in one phone rig. It suits video recording, vlogging, live streaming and mobile photography.

A side button opens and locks the cage for quick fitting. Its aluminium alloy frame has shock-absorbing rubber cushions, while the camera, charging port and function buttons remain accessible.

Choose the 67 mm filter adapter for creative filter effects, or use the lens backplates to mount compatible phone lenses. This gives you a more adaptable setup than a basic phone case when your projects call for added optics.

## Tech specs
- Type: Phone video rig cage
- Compatibility: Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max
- Material: Aluminium alloy
- Colour: Black
- Filter adapter: 67 mm
- Lens backplates: 17 mm threaded and T Mount
- Installation: Side-button quick release

The hollow back is compatible with MagSafe wireless charging, and a detachable rubber piece keeps the Camera Control accessible. The cage also has slots for the PA045 quick-release side handle, sold separately. Buyers often praise the fit, sturdy feel and range of attachment options, feedback on the locking mechanism is mixed. These are useful points to weigh when choosing a cage for a lens-based filming setup.

## Practical tips
Use the 67 mm adapter to attach compatible filters, including UV, CPL and ND filters, as well as creative-effect filters. Filters are sold separately. For close-ups, wide-angle, telephoto or other lens effects, choose an appropriate NEEWER phone lens with a 17 mm thread and mount it using the 17 mm backplate. The 17 mm mount is designed for the main and telephoto cameras.

The T Mount backplate provides another route for compatible Moment T Series mobile lenses. For a filming session, you could fit the phone in the cage, select the relevant backplate for your lens, then add a filter when the shot calls for one. The choice is between keeping a phone setup simple and compact, or building in mounts for more creative control, this cage is aimed at the latter. Check that your chosen lens or filter matches the mount you plan to use.

## What’s included
The set contains the phone cage, one 67 mm filter adapter, one 17 mm lens backplate and one T Mount lens backplate. The filter adapter accepts 67 mm filters, the threaded backplates provide mounting options for compatible lenses. Lenses and filters are sold separately, so you can select attachments to suit the kind of photos or footage you want to create.

## Final verdict
The NEEWER PA074 is a practical base for iPhone 16 Pro Max creators who want to build a mobile filming rig around filters or add-on lenses. Quick-release installation, accessible phone controls and three distinct attachment options make it useful for moving between everyday recording and more considered video or photography setups.
