## Description

For listening on a commute or taking calls between tasks, the CMF Buds 2a combine active noise cancellation with touch controls and Bluetooth 5.4. Their Light Grey finish keeps the look understated for everyday wear.

The 12.4 mm Dirac-tuned drivers bring bass-focused audio to music and entertainment, while Transparency Mode lets ambient sound through when you need more awareness. Switch between these listening modes to suit where you are.

For calls, four microphones work with Clear Voice Technology and wind noise reduction to help your voice come through in busy or breezy surroundings. The charging case extends total listening time to 35.5 hours, so you can keep the earbuds ready across the day.

The Nothing X app provides options to adjust ANC and create custom EQ profiles. Low Latency Mode is available through the app for gaming. These controls let you tailor the listening setup to different activities, from music to calls and mobile games. For switching between compatible devices, Bluetooth multipoint adds a practical everyday feature.

## Who it’s for
These in-ear earbuds suit people who want one pair for commuting, workouts, entertainment and professional calls. IP54 resistance is suited to sweat, rain and dust exposure, while the case’s stated 35.5-hour total battery life helps reduce how often you need to recharge between outings. For a call in a café or outdoors, the four-mic system and wind noise reduction are designed to help keep speech clear, for a quieter listening session, ANC offers a different way to manage surrounding sound.

If you’re choosing between simple wireless earbuds and a pair with more listening controls, the Buds 2a add ANC, Transparency Mode and app-based EQ in one set. They’re a good fit if you want to adjust your sound and noise control rather than rely on a single listening mode. Buyers praise the noise cancellation and battery life, while feedback on sound quality is mixed. Some also report Bluetooth dropouts and reliability or durability concerns, so those experiences are worth weighing alongside the listed features.

## Getting the most from it
Use ANC when you want to reduce surrounding noise, then switch to Transparency Mode when hearing more of your environment is useful. The Nothing X app is the place to adjust ANC, set an EQ profile or activate Low Latency Mode for gaming. Multipoint is useful when moving between compatible Bluetooth devices, while touch controls give you an on-ear way to manage playback. The earbuds are designed for mobile phones and connect wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.4.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the CMF Buds 2a if you want wireless in-ear listening with 42 dB ANC, Transparency Mode, app-based sound adjustments and a case rated for 35.5 hours of total battery life. The combination makes them a practical fit for people moving between music, calls and gaming, with IP54 resistance adding everyday practicality for workouts and outdoor use.
