Pros

As the last book in a three-book series, Clockwork Princess brings the Infernal Devices story to its conclusion. Its full-length, unabridged presentation preserves the complete audiobook experience, and the listed running time of 16 hours and 19 minutes gives you a clear sense of the commitment involved. Daniel Sharman is credited as narrator, offering a single named voice for this audio edition.

Customer feedback particularly highlights the storyline, the emotional impact and the way the characters’ paths come together. Some describe it as a satisfying series finale, while others point to the character development and relationship dynamics. These are readers’ responses to the story, rather than a promise that every listener will react the same way.

Key points

This is Book 3 of 3 in The Infernal Devices, written by Cassandra Clare. Its place at the end of the series makes it a natural choice for listeners ready to complete the trilogy, the sequence also matters if you are choosing a starting point, as this edition is presented as the conclusion rather than an introductory volume.

The audiobook is unabridged and has a listening length of 16 hours and 19 minutes. That extended format can suit a long-running listening routine, such as returning to the story across a number of commutes or at-home sessions. If you prefer to take in a book visually and set your own reading pace, a print edition serves a different kind of reading habit.

Everyday use

For a listening day with several stretches of free time, the substantial runtime gives you room to make progress without needing to finish the story in one sitting. You can also approach it in shorter sessions, keeping your place in the final volume as your schedule allows. The central appeal is having the complete story presented as an audiobook, with Daniel Sharman credited for the narration.

The customer response adds useful context for choosing a series finale: feedback often mentions an emotionally engaging story and connected character arcs. If you have followed the earlier books, this final instalment offers the audio format for continuing through the trilogy’s close. If you are new to the series, its Book 3 designation makes the reading order clear.

Final verdict

Clockwork Princess is a focused choice for Cassandra Clare fans who want to finish The Infernal Devices in unabridged audio. Its clear series position, named narrator and 16-hour-and-19-minute runtime make it easy to identify as a complete, extended listen for following the trilogy to its conclusion.
