Belkin wireless charging car phone mount 10W
Product description
For drivers who want their phone held in view and charging during a trip, this Belkin mount combines magnetic attachment with wireless charging. It’s designed for MagSafe-enabled iPhones, with the listing naming iPhone 14, 13 and 12 devices.
The mount can rotate so you can set the phone’s viewing direction. That’s useful when switching between navigation and a quick glance at a call or message while parked.
One detail affects the setup: the USB-C cable is included, but the car power supply is not. To charge at up to 10W, you’ll need an 18W Power Delivery 3.0 car supply.
Key specifications
The product is a magnetic car phone mount with wireless charging rated at up to 10W. A USB-C cable is included, and the mount rotates to let you position the phone in different directions. The listing specifies a separate 18W Power Delivery 3.0 car power supply for charging at the stated maximum, that supply isn’t included.
The supplied information identifies MagSafe-enabled iPhone 14, 13 and 12 devices as compatible. The product name also mentions other phones, including Galaxy S21 models, but the charging and magnetic fit details aren’t equally clear for every device. If your phone doesn’t use MagSafe, don’t assume the magnetic attachment will suit it based on the name alone.
Who it’s for
This makes most sense for someone who wants one unit to hold a compatible phone and charge it in the car, rather than using a basic mount and handling charging separately. For example, you could set the phone to a navigation view, rotate it to a comfortable angle, then leave it attached for the drive.
It suits you if you have a listed MagSafe-enabled iPhone and are happy to provide the specified car power supply. It won’t suit you if you need an all-in-one kit with the power adapter included, or if your phone’s magnetic attachment compatibility is uncertain. The listing also states a two-year period, though it doesn’t explain the terms.
Everyday use
The practical appeal is fewer separate steps: attach the phone to the magnetic mount, set the angle and connect the included cable to the car supply. Compared with a simpler holder that only keeps a phone in place, this adds wireless charging, compared with a more complete charging kit, you’ll need to source the power supply separately.
The stated 10W is a maximum, not a guarantee that every setup or phone will charge at that rate. The clearest fit is a supported MagSafe-enabled iPhone paired with the required power supply. For other phones, the product details leave some uncertainty, so this isn’t the safest pick if you need confirmed magnetic and charging support for a specific model.
Three specific questions
Is the car power adapter included? No. The USB-C cable is included, but the 18W Power Delivery 3.0 car supply needed for up to 10W charging is sold separately.
Can you change the phone’s viewing angle? Yes. The mount is described as rotatable, allowing the phone to be viewed in different directions.
Which iPhones does the listing name? It specifies MagSafe-enabled iPhone 14, 13 and 12 devices. The product name mentions a wider range, but details for every model aren’t set out as clearly.
Veredicto final
Choose this Belkin if magnetic mounting and wireless charging in one car accessory are the main draw, and you already have—or are willing to obtain—the required car supply. It’s less compelling if you want every charging component in the box or need certainty about compatibility with a phone outside the clearly named MagSafe-enabled iPhones.
